Welcome

There must be very few people in the parish of Tardebigge who are unaware of our lovely parish church of St Bartholomew, on the hill overlooking the canal, and which is a landmark visible not only from the dual carriageway connecting Bromsgrove and Redditch but also, on a clear day, from many parts of Worcestershire and beyond.

It is our conviction that the wonderful world in which we live is God’s creation and that he cares for each one of us and wants the best for us. Through religious leaders and especially through the life and teaching of Jesus Christ he has shown us how to live together happily and peacefully in communities and families. We believe therefore that life is not a meaningless, pointless journey from nowhere to nowhere, but a meaningful, purposeful and fulfilling experience, with a heavenly goal to achieve.

During his ministy Jesus trained his disciples to establish the Church to be an organised body to carry on his work in the world. So the Church, through its many local congregations, enables people to worship together. It provides fellowship, the opportunity to share with others our joys and sorrows, our interests and concerns; and exercises a caring ministry to people in need, those with problems, anxieties, sorrows or illness to face.

If you do not already do so, and do not go elsewhere, do consider joining us for worship; you will be very welcome.

If you have children they may like to join our Sunday School or other organisations. You may be interested in other activities described in this site.
